Boundary
Ceres' Boundary exists on a very unique and odd place, one that is very vibrant and full of spiritual energy and connection. It is a space located deep within the furthest reaches of the desert and is surrounded by deep, vast canyons on near all sides. It's so isolated it something of a planet of it's own, it's remained untouched and untainted by anything at all in it's solitary existence. The creatures living here know near nothing of the world outside their own, and few who wander here from someplace else ever leave.
In the center of this little corner of the world sits a single, large, and incredibly clear pool of water that is fed by a multitude of little underground streams flowing out of the surrounding canyons. The pool itself isn't large by any means, but it is constant and never dries out, and serves as a persistent source of life and respite for the plants and animals.
More so however, this pool seems to act as some sort of a vacuum for the energy of the lost souls and memories dotted across the landscape. Wisps of thought, shards of forgotten lives, and trails of energy of all kinds are pulled gently inward by the trickle of the underground streams far, far below- and it all ends up in the pool. They settle into the depths of the pool, bringing with them power and strength to the whole of the surrounding area that is absolutely awing. This is a place that exists and a strong, pure, and true hotbed of spiritual energy and power of the likes that would even rival other scared sights around the world.... but for all the power and thrum of energy, that is not to say it is stifling- in fact it is an overwhelming sense of calm and tranquility, and an energy that promotes healing as well.
The waters dumping into the stream carry thoughts of ill-will and pain from all around, and memories of the most terrible, festering kind- malevolence, anger, hatred- but their slow journey down the streams strip away all of the negative energy. By the time they make it to the pool, there is nothing left but peace, and calm, and acceptance. These renewed and positive energies and emotions seep into the surrounding plants and animals, and soak into the very heart of the land- creating what is well known as that hotbed of deep, thrumming, spiritual energy that even the Wanderer Majanthi finds herself drawn back to, time and time again.
