- She goes by either her full name, or her nickname- "Neph"
- She is very graceful in her movements, to the point she almost seems to float at times
- Her name is that of a nymph molded out of clouds by Zeus. This plays into her being born of a tree fallen by lightning, and her mist cloud elemental.
- She's very old, she's been around since the first humans- but age does not equal wisdom in her case. In a lot of ways she is very naive and inexperienced with anything outside the norm of her Boundary.
- She is a total 'go with the flow' personality. She is very relaxed, and eternally calm, and faintly curious.
- She only has one pine cone on her head, coupled with some spruce clumps.
- The amount of spruce clumps in her tail vary, and sometimes she leaves a trail of needles behind her if she's moving fast.
- She is about 3.5-4 ft tall, roughly the size of a small deer, or a black bear when on all four feet
- Loves to just wander the forest and mountainside that butts up/encompasses her Boundary
- The forest of her boundary is expansive, and very old, and dense. There are a multitude of different habits within, with many animals and such.
- She loves baby animals of all kinds, and has a special fondness for watching fledgling birds when they start branching and learning how to fly.
- The question 'if a tree falls in a forest, does it make a sound?' has a definite yes for Neph. She doesn't necessarily 'hear' it as a sound, but she does know it falls, she can just sense it. She can sense when any tree in her Boundary falls, at all times.
- The forest is very wet, and mostly akin to a temperate rainforest where her NF sitka spruce is common. It rains, as well as snows quite often, and the forest is very humid and misty nearly all the time. Clear sunny days with little moisture happen, but are rare- generally in the summer the climate it just mild, and winters are very cold.
- For reference, her Boundary is located along the coasts of western coasts of Canada, northern California, and Alaska
- She has an odd habit/tick where she'll stretch her front feet up against a tree trunk and push herself up on her tippy-toes, sort of reaching for the lowest branches- she's usually a long ways off, but it doesn't stop her from stretching herself.
- (This little habit may or may not at times end up with her stretching too far, and tipping over and landing flat on her back, legs still stretched)
- She loves to climb trees, and see how high up she can get. She'll even hop between trees and branches close enough together. She can go awhile without touching the forest floor again.
- Also very fond of finding those patches of sunlight that break through the mountain chill and snow that blankets the Boundary in winter, and sunbath for a few hours
- Her Elemental has the same effect of mountain mist clouds, where it tends to stay low and swirl about her feet as if she were the 'mountain'. The clouds can float higher off the ground if she wants them to.
- Sometimes she uses her Elemental to keep herself hidden from other animals, or the sparse few humans that venture into her forest.
- She likes to watch things from above and in the trees, especially humans that are hiking through.
- She's not likely to approach humans, more likely to simply watch them. She's not afraid of approaching other animals usually, but with the bigger carnivores like bears and mountain lions, she might be more reluctant.
