Personality
Anwir is a hard personality to pin down.
They seem quiet and contemplative most of the time, and can tend to come off as somewhat ethereal and variable. Anwir is not an esk one approaches lightly, those unaware of this esk's nature are sure to fall into unwanted traps and mishaps on the part of Anwir.
To those who have grown accustomed to Anwir's nature, the warning to be given is this; never assume that what Anwir says is what they actually mean, it's always better to assume it's the opposite.
Anwir is not a straightforward personality, nor are they ever precise and clear in their meanings or what they want. If you are to dare esk for advice from this esk, it will not be what you expect, and generally if you are not careful with how you take their meaning- you might find yourself in a trap.
Anwir is a spinner of tales, lies, and trickery. They are deceitful and dishonest, and generally backward in everything they do and what you would expect. If they advise you travel west, you'd be better off turning east. If they tell you the weather is to be clear and sunny, you'd best expect a downpour to come your way soon.
Anwir will lead you astray at every chance available, and even when they may not actively wish to do you ill. They cannot help themselves with their deceitful and fallacious nature, it is natural for them to tell lies and spin untrue tales for any and all those who come across their path.... this extends to even when they are in a truly good mood, they will still play tricks and such- but beware when they seem inviting and friendly, as these are the times when this esk is most dangerous.
When company does arrive in the form of human or esk, they grow defensive and fall back into their habits. Anwir is somewhat protective of the place they have been bound to and does not look kindly on those invading it, but they do not generally chase them off right away- they'll play tricks on them, and conjure up storms with their Elemental to ruffle those they do not take kindly to, and keep them further at bay. Sometimes Anwir will choose to ignore the intruders altogether and watch them from afar, the piercing gaze of the esk on the stranger's backs making them uneasy and quick to move on.
Anwir prefers solitude to company, and it is when they are entirely alone that their trickery and lies taper off for a time. They wander their boundary, and seem almost content- if not almost forlorn, like a ghost tied to the land and left to wander the field endlessly like some sun-scorched wraith. They are perfectly content to be alone, remaining a watchful spectre in the field, guarding the land and keeping a wary eye on those that come and go.
To those that come in with intent to harm the land, or cause discord within it, Anwir is a vengeful spirit and will do everything in their power to halt those persons, and they are not likely to come back again once they've suffered through Anwir's wrath. If you are there as a peaceful visitor however, you may pass freely, or only be subjected to a mild amount of Anwir's tricks and fickle personality... or perhaps if you're lucky, you'll be left alone entirely.
